Happy Thanksgiving members and friends of PINKessence!
It is so easy to get caught up in our own busy lives, or be pulled down by the challenges of our gender journey, that we can sometimes forget to stop, and smell the roses... and give thanks.
Lets all stop, and take a moment to share... what are YOU thankful for?

Comment by Lana Moore on November 24, 2011 at 5:08pm I'm thankful for being free... free to be, you & me!

In our house we have a tradition at the Thanksgiving meal where everyone must state three things they are thankful for:
Salvation in Jesus Christ
my job
my SO

Comment by Suzi Jet on November 24, 2011 at 8:19pm I'm thankful for Jesus, my new job, my friends in the trans community and Sat is the "T" Party in Columbus. Had friends over for dinner and misread the thermometer in the turkey - it was really late :(.

Comment by Stephanie Yates on November 26, 2011 at 12:48am Friends, my wise and supportive friends. I don't need to pay counselors, I have friends who provide that service. Oh, and I'm thankful for people (thinking of you, Chloe) who care enough to provide means by which like minded friends can get together. And I'm thankful that I live in a nation where there is still freedom to be able to express your opinion, express your "lifestyle" and express yourself without oppression (well, except that which comes from those who disagree). And be thankful for perspective... life could always be worse, lots worse.
Comment by Jillian Munsell on November 26, 2011 at 9:51pm Ummm I gues being thankful for PE is too obvious Right?
(which I am)
I am thankful for my job, which supports those I really am thankful of - my 2 girls and my wife.
My two siblings, and their family.
My mom - who at 88 is still so supportive of me.

Comment by Lyndsey Catherine Rush on December 1, 2011 at 5:26am I am thankful that the only remaining "family" member is my mother who is 87 and smiles every day when she sees me come into her room and calls me her daughter that she should said she loves so much - Bless her heart! she prays someday I may find my way in this world when she goes.
