WE DID IT! PINKessence AD Campaign - COMPLETE!
POP THE CORKS LADIES AND GENTLEMAN - WE DID IT!
It is my pleasure to report that from our very generous membership, we have raised the target goal of $1200 to be used to secure the back page of The Southern Comfort Conference Program guide for 2010. The conference sells ad space in its program guide to help raise money for the SCC Scholarship fund.
The rear page is one of the most prestigious and well seen advertisements at the conference. Everyone carrying around the booklet will see our gorgeous Ad for our wonderful home - PINKessence.
I would like to personally thank all the member who made this possible - to the members who helped spread the word - to the members who prayed for us... I thank you from the bottom of ALL our hearts.
Together we can do anything - WE ARE ONE!

All totaled with pledges made to me via email/phone and the amounts collected we are now at $1050.00 with 2 days left. Just $150 to go - we're right on track... keep the momentum going everyone! To those that have already contributed, you may notice you now have a limited edition GIFT icon of the PINK GLASS BUTTERFLY as a way of saying thanks and so other members can pay recognition. If you happen to come across someone's profile that has one of these PINK GLASS BUTTERFLIES, please thank them for their support to our community and home here on PE. Remember, all money's collected will go towards PE's AD on the back of the program guide for the Southern Comfort Conference this September - which in turn, goes directly towards the SCC Scholarship fund to help those who are in need of assistance to attend the conference but otherwise would have difficulty.

As of Aug 6th this morning, we have collected a total of $790.00 I've heard from a few others that they intend to contribute later in the week, so hopefuully the momentum will continue over the next few days and we should be able to make the target on time. :) Again, thank you for your contributions - it will benefit a very valuable cause - The SCC Scholarship fund, and allow PE to be featured on the back page of the program guide for the conference.

We are off to a nice start - and I feel confident we'll reach the goal. So far, we have raised $375 as of 2PM today.
Some have asked what will happen if we DON'T reach our goal:
Answer: I will make up the difference on my own. I made a comiment to Donna Rose and to SCC - they are counting on that for the scholarship fund. If I have to myself, I will fullfill the obligation myself.
Thank you for your help sisters - and remember, every little bits helps - I want to send a message to the community that PE is a sisterhood or support and unity. I believe meeting this challenge will only attract more great memebers and good things for our site and sisterhood.

Sisters, friends and supporters of PE,
As you know, the Southern Comfort Conference is just around the corner. This will be the 20th anniversary of one of the oldest and largest TG conferences in the world.
It has been offered that PINKessence may run its add on the back cover - and will be in FULL color - on the SCC Program guide. I can't tell you how important this would be for our social network. The program guide will go out to close to 1200 to 1500+ people, and most likely, will be a collective item to many.
I want to secure that commitment for our family here at PE, but to do so will cost $1200.00
I know this is a large sum - but the dividends in return would be astronomical.
PE has 10 days to come up with the funds - or the space goes to another group.
I'm asking you all to donate and help raise this money - by donating whatever you can in an effort to grow our site, and support the conference. Money raised for this space will go to help the SCC Scholarship fund - and allow other people who would otherwise not be able to afford to go, pay for their conference fee's, etc.

Chloe, we owe you so much for Pink Essence.
$1,200 spread among 3,200 members is $0.38 from each of us. I, for one, get a thousand times more benefit from PE. You have my contribution. I will give more if you need it but I would hope that all the guys and gals here would recognize the blessings they have received from PE and give generously. You should not have to extend yourself financially any further when you give so generously of your time and energy

Thank you to the MANY people that have stepped forward to pledge. The money that this AD goes toward, is actually a fund raiser for for SCC's Scholarship fund. Yes, PE gets the AD on the back cover of the program guide. Our AD commiment will contribute to SCC's ability to reach out and extend services to many people how would otherwise not be able to make it. Along with the rest of the ads ran in the guide, this is one of the most expensive - it is key that the AD be sold for SCC. Donna Rose is the person in charge of this, and I have given my commitment on behalf of PINKessence, that "no matter what" we will fullfill this obligation - even if I have to pay the balance myself.
Today date as of Aug 5th 11AM, We are now at the 50% mark!!! We just crossed the line at $600!!!!! Yeah!
More good news - The Fantasia Fair people have been so generous as to reach out to PE and give us a FREE add in their program guide and they will also be adding our Banner AD to their website so it lands back here on PINKessence.com
WAY TO GO EVERYONE!!!
We now have TCNE, GOLD RUSH, SCC, TransOHIO, and Fantasia Fair who all endorse PE or share links back and forth. I hope in time to come, we can add in the other conferences to that list.

If you are hesitant to donate, and instead would like to "pledge" a donation to be sent at a later time, that is acceptable too. Also, if you do not wish to use PAYPAL and would like another option to send funds, send me a private message with details of your donation/pledge and I will make alternate arrangements for you to send it securely via U.S. Post mail.

Thanks for organizing this great opportunity to help our community. Your heart is so great that if you were millionairess you'd pick up the tab yourself. But we all know you have children and have to work like the rest of us do, too. So asking us to help is something you should do more often. If we all gave even a little we could easily help cover expenses like this. I sent my donation
Using PayPal, it was so easy to send my donation. It was even easier than I expected since I already donate a little each month. Gosh, I don't even notice that small monthly donation until I get the nice Thank You from PE through the Pay Pal system. For this special donation I just put in an amount and entered my email adress and password and clicked done. I did not write SCC ad on it. No doubt you and the team will use the money wisely.
There are over 3,000 members to PE. Many of us know that this place is a life saver, that the relationships formed here become real, that the word "sisters" is used with a deep emotional attachment in many cases. Everyday there are people walking this earth still because of the support PE gave them.. This place helps people value their lives when they can find no reason to do so. Later on it helps them learn, grow, and become a friend to someone else.
Because of PE I became friends with two sisters none gone - Cheryl and Steph. Both died suddenly from medical issues. I would never know the pain of their passing if I have known the joy of their friendship. PE brought us together and helped that gift to happen. And you were at the gathering when where we met in person... helping so many sisters. .
