Well, this shouldn't take long. I just want to make an observation; WHY do people come in and blog about where they are at and want to know what any/everyone thinks about their situation, BUT! (and isn't there always caveat in there someplace?)...........
The only people that can get to whomsoever are usually (but not always) in the same boat and often have no idea what comes next or how to get there. So if that's the case, what's the point of posting? If you do it just to vent then you are going to ignore just about everyone anyway. If you do want to know but no one can reach out to you, you might as well just be venting. And if you already know the answer but just wanted to post your whereabouts, whatsyer point?
So I guess MY point here is that there still seem to be some folks who are highly uncomfortable with a public presence. I don't blame them but IF that's the case, then perhaps you shouldn't be posting a public picture and describing your circumstances, even in general terms. And if that ISN'T the problem, then why can't some of the people (not necessarily ME, mind you) who could give you the BEST answers (as opposed to continuing to floundere around) have access to you.
Whoever you are.

Comment by Rachel King on May 26, 2012 at 7:51am I think you're trying to say, why bother being here if you are going to censor comment, yes?
It's night here so it should by all the laws be morning there and I gather you are sober, but whether you are coherent is another matter? hahahaha.
Please enlighten me, or I shall go to bed befuddled.
Well, more so than is usual.
Well Rachel - I was sober when I wrote that and I am sober now, in my morning. And yes.......that is my exact point. Many trans people come here looking for kindred spirits; that means different things to different people. But if you cherry pick your sources for guidance and answers then you seriously limit your ability to get sound directions and you end up meandering and taking a lot of wrong turns (or.....if you are a bird lover, terns).
And it does go back to the thing about privacy as well. After the big brouhaha some months ago, you would think that people in PE would understand the risk involved in plastering your puss anywhere.
So really, it's kind two issue; your privacy is at stake when you post yourself to the Internet, and your advice from a limited pool of knowledge is just about useless.
Are you still befuddled?
