My Doctor is Kathy Rumer and she is also presenting at TransOhio.

I am in week 4 of recovery but overall I am quite pleased with the resuls of the operation. Dr. Rumer has been wonderful as my surgeon, especially with aftercare. She performed GCS on me at Lower Bucks County Hospital, Bristol, Pa., which BTW had excellent staff especially the nurses who attended me on the fourth floor.

I suppose what I am about to say has been said by so many others about their surgeons but Dr. Kathy Rumer was definately the right choice for me and would highly recommend her.

Elan,

It's nice to meet you. to be transgender
The way you have written your request it appears that there is an assumption that trans people have surgery as a prerequisite in order to be trans.

I've been transitioned for five years and live quite a normal everyday life of work and home.

Are you just needing those trans women to participate that require surgery or can it also be inclusive of those that required nothing?

Again welcome Elan.

Something I learned a while ago (not to give away my age, everyone knows I'm not a day over 34), it is never a good idea to reveal anything that might make someone's identity to become known. Even with the best intentions it can backfire and leave at the least harsh feelings and at the worst civil legal action against you. To use others stories for your presentation is fine, be sure to make sure they can't be indentified personally by what you say about a case.
Looking forward to meeting you!
