Time with my wife - update
I am happy to update everyone that yes, I did, in fact survive, as did my wife. It was a lovely time for both of us. I can only speak for myself, but the expression of love and support that my wife displayed by taking me on our little trip meant to world to me. It was fun...that's it...nothing extraordinary...which, of course, makes it a bit extraordinary. We were completely comfortable, talked a great deal, went to a nice art museum, two great restaurants...just enjoyed ourselves. That was the magic of it...we just enjoyed ourselves.
I wish I could add more...but what else can you say about someone who gave you so much. I don't know if this experience changed anything about us, or if it will. For now, we will let it be what it was. And I thank her for it.

What a wonderful story. My wife gives me the freedom to be myself but wants nothing to do with me as Jennifer. I so want to be where you are.
May I suggest a follow on to your blog? How about a she said, she said blog post. You've given us the bare outline of what you did together. Go back through the details and let her add her impressions. I'm sure she has lots of insights. My hope would be that this could be an encouragement to other wives that, as our girl selves, we can be fun to be with.
