How do you think that the rule of a federal judge that grants a death row inmate a sex change will affect us in getting help with our final surgery ?

Personally, I think it creates another sensationistic picture of trans women as desperate for surgery beyond reason and will do absolutely do nothing to further the cause of rights for the population of transgender people who just want a respectable life. But what do I know?

If you are found guilty of murder and convicted to death row you might stand a good chance. Short of being incarcerated for a capital offense I don’t think there is any possible expectation (unless you live in California where anything is possible).

Maybe we all get in federal prison....just insult a federal courthouse guard. Then demand SRS.

Unless you want to be a federal prisoner, it won't. There are always different rules for the people, the politicians, the military, and the poor / inmates. One never seems to affect the other.
