Sadly we still live in the United States where ignorance trumps knowledge and fear of the unknown trumps enlightenment.

There is a chance we are going to see one of these people elected to the highest office in the land.

If that occurs, God help us all.

It would be easy for me to say "ditto" to Julia's comment and few would likely argue with us.  nd often I find their is much truth in general about the ignorance level of many who are unwilling to do the work necessary not to be so uninformed.

But in my TG journey I have learned that in my area of the USA people are generally accepting on the surface and finding a rude or crude person has indeed been rare for me, so in regard to people around Washington and the current climate for TG folks, I have found acceptance and kindness all of the time (with only a handful of exceptions).  Here is hoping you find things the same, too.
