I didn't have to see the numbers to know this, I've seen how women have been treated since the time I was old enough to know the differences.  Things have improved over the years but we are still in the dark ages.  A shame for a country that wants to be a leader in the world.

It is little wonder that this country is ranked where it is when we have GOP political leaders spouting woman enslaving commentary like Republican Senator Todd Aikin ststing that; 

‘‘If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down,’’

Even Romney is distancing himself from these "" representatives "". of the people.

This attitude still runs rampant in many part of the country and because of this attitude towards women there must be representatives to promote such disgusting beliefs.

Remember that feminists are the number three enemy officially of the Mormon Church. And you want to vote for one of them?

If you actually believe what Romney said on his mailer: I will protect the freedom of religious institutions, go ahead and vote for him.

He has demonstrated his anti-equality stand on nearly everything.

Well, it's no wonder that the Northern Countries in their icy wastes featured so highly.

And, it was interesting to see that they Huff and Puff Post, used a pic of the Perth CBD skyline, one of the smallest State Capitol cities, although it is the centre of my universe, I suppose.

I wasn't going to mention this inconsequential item except on the idiot box News, they showed a report by Syrian Television on the fighting there and it showed, with a flashing ring, the centres of each major country around the world and there was the area of Perth, with its flashing ring and the sign, Melbourne, glaring out at me.

Now 7 million Melbournians will no doubt vehemently disagree with me, but Melbourne is the pits, the only place I know that has all 4 seasons in one day, most every day and that's why we in the West in the Land of Oz, strenuously object to Melbourne being seen and therefore identified as part of the West.

"Proudly West Australian", is our motto, and so say all of us, all 2 1/2 million of us at last count although the amount of Eastern Staters that are sneaking over the border to take advantage of our flourishing economy, is a worry, hahahaha.

I tried contacting the Syrian News organisation but I bombed out, I think they were thinking I was shooting my mouth off and the snap, crackle and pop, scared the bejasus out of them.

Now the Huff and Puff Post is a different story.

They publish anything. 

They showed NZ as a forest, albeit the most stunning of forests but not a Kiwi in sight.

That's because they're all over in the Land of Oz, earning the big money you can make here.

The Kiwi motto?

Will the last Kiwi to leave, please turn out the lights, hahahaha.

Not long now.....

And an hour after first reading this post, my head is still reverberating with the sounds of the Beatles singing one of their classics even if I still don't know what the lyrics are about, innocent wee thing that I am.

A.K.A., This bird has flown, which is not to be confused with "And Your Bird can Sing".

I think the song was about pot smoking (Norwegian Wood) and and a lesbian relationship ("...I once had a girl, or should I say, she once had me...")

Rachel, I trust few of our e-rags in this country. If I want news I watch BBC or France 24.
