Moving Forward
I have been seeing a therapist for almost two years and a gender therapist for almost a year. She approved me for a letter in November, but I still had to get in to see a doctor.
I finally have an appointment for a doctor to start hormone therapy on February 21, 2012. It will actually be the one year anniversary of my coming out letter to everyone on Facebook.
I got a great gift today. My therapist gave me a copy of my approval letter for hormone therapy and continuance with the path to surgery. She faxed a copy of the letter to the doctor, but she gave me a copy in case they didn't get it.
I am so happy. I have an appointment and I have a copy of the letter which I can keep or make a copy of to have and to hold.

Congratulations and best of luck. Stay true to yourself and let noone deter you from being who you are. I think alot on the fact that if it was just us, as one person most would have done this long ago. Yet there are always others involved and either from them or through us we block our paths with the incongruance of nature and let the worries and fears of ourselves and others push us down. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy and sometimes we cannot breath from the pressures of others. Whatever may be be good to yourself and stay on your path. Warm wishes and thoughts. Hugs
