More Life

I just completed 3 weeks on the road and 5000 miles with mom.  Yep Mom and daughter trip.  We drove moms 2003 convertible Mustang and had fun.  We went to the Crow Indian Nation in south Montana, then to Great Falls, MT so see cousin, then to Salt Lake City, UT for wedding, then back to Devils Tower in Sundance, WY, then to Sturgis, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and the Corn Palace, SD. WEW!

I had to think of Caroline once.  At one of our stops for the night the pool stayed open until mid night.  The owner assured me the water was 90 degrees.  As I was relaxing, a small girl swam up to me and started telling me her life story.  She is 5 1/2 yrs old, her bother is 7, she learned to swim at 3 1/2 yrs old. LOL on and on.  She them wanted to show me how well she swam.  I one point I thought she was getting tired and was ready to rescue her.  I held out my hand to guide her to the ladder.

So it has also been asked, when did you feel accepted and I have been a couple of answers.  But this little girl confirmed me deeper than I thought possible.  I was a woman she could trust. WOW
