Memorial Day
Today in the United States we are going to be having a BBQ or enjoy that extra day off from work, but lets not forget why we have this day. Let us all thank those that have served their country today and those that are still serving as well. Let us thank the soldiers, marines, sailors and airmen who without countless acts of sacrifice we couldnt have have this wonderful country today. I know i thank all those that served with me and those that served before me and those that are serving now. Thank you to all you ladies and gentlemen here at pinkesscence that have served!

I concur however I have a selfish reason, as I recently lost my 4th family member in combat this month. We lost him on 12 May. It is easy to watch from the sidelines and enjoy life, but a lot more painful when you have to deal with the reality of losing a loved one, and not being able to be there in their place, in the first place!
