Comment by HELEN BRADY on October 6, 2012 at 5:02pm In the beginning nothing can make you happier than being called ma'am or lady. Strangely enough before I transitioned or even knew; when I had on my long blonde wig, I always got called that. I was always out with my gf. I loved it, and she didn't know what to make of my attitude toward it. I was first called a pretty girl months before my epiphany and I stupidly and wrongly told the pianist softly that I was a guy (WRONG!!!!)
After my transition I danced there many times, spoke to him many times and he always accepted me as a woman.
I was once going into the men's room and a guy behind me tapped me on the shoulder and said: "That's the wrong one, lady!" Since it was before I even knew I was trans, I just said: "I'm a guy." and went on in.
So I guess I made a fair woman even before my transition. I had boobs since 1994, as I can see in my pictures,
and my epiphany and instant transition to full time wasn't until July 2, 2007.
I think I can honestly say that I was the last to know I was a transwoman.
Comment by Erin Detty on October 6, 2012 at 8:50pm Hi Darla, I'm glad to see your back and doing well:)

Comment by Rachel King on October 7, 2012 at 2:01am I often say," You can take the girl out of trans but you can never take the trans out of a girl."
Welcome back Darla.
Rachelpedia(c) piped up( as it does) and correctly told me that it is the Hu Hot Mongolian Grill.
All sounds yummy to me.
