"We are One"

I am nearly completely exhausted as I type this.  I am tired in my bones.  I went to the dentist today and lo and behold a trans-woman was at the desk chatting with the financial lady.  I sat down and waited for my teeth cleaning.  I found out that I have a tooth which has to be removed because of resorbtion.  That is where your body basically begins to re-absorb and dissolve a tooth from the inside out.  My body doesn't like this particular tooth anymore and I must get it removed and get a stetic implant.  The cost for this is oh about $4,300.00  Yes that is one tooth.  I have insurance coverage up to 2200.00 so my cost will be cut a bit.  I have to get a cadaver bone graft done at the same time as the removal ( yeah gross right).  I could also opt to have bovine bone implanted instead of human cadaver.  I don't like those options.  So basically cow or corpse.  Neither option is appealing to me.  At the same time as all of the aforementioned I have to have a metal post basically drilled and tapped into my jawbone.  Can you say ouch!  Then this has to heal for three months before a fake, screw in tooth can be put in.  Grand total is the price of a decent used car.  When did dentistry get so high in cost that you have to take out a second mortgage to get work done?  Anyhow after I am done guess what type of person is standing at the bus stop right outside of the dental office?  If you guessed another trans- woman you would be correct.  Not the same one mind you a different younger one.  What is really odd is that the other day yet another trans woman came into the T-mobile store that I was in.  Both times others were aware of where and when I would be at different locations.  I find it really odd that in my fourteen years of living in Salem that I have only run into two trans women that I could tell were such and now three in two weeks.  It seems like more than coincidence would allow given that I was at places at scheduled times and there they were.  Really odd in my opinion.  The other thing which was odd is that today when I came over for dinner my wife asked me if I had a tooth pulled.  She knew nothing about that she only knew I was going for a cleaning, where and when. It seems she knows my business as well or better than I do even when I haven't told it to her.  Curiouser and curiouser.  So I gotta go and get some rest.  K

I have a tooth implant myself. My graft was bovine so I guess I really am an old cow! And I understand about the cost as well! Makes the thought of gumming all my food someday look more likely!

Karen,

Have you thought that these women have been noticed by you at an increasing rate due to a message that needs to get through to you?

A message simply saying your not alone or a message with a much deeper meaning.

Interesting.
