Hmmmm....well ill start making a few more blogs about me here but i will still keep making my blogs at wordpress so here goes!!!
Today was the usual on this island when in vacation.....rain and family :P By this i mean the weather is warm and humid but rainy as heck! So this X-mas is a wet ne ( when aint it lol).
On this island though....its called Madeira Island.....Close to Africa and close to Portugal it is a tropical paradise. Better yet it is also my origin =P so i love coming back here to rain and heat any time cause in Namibia it is hot and dry as sand.
I am still thinking though...its been 3 months since i accepted who i am and it literally has been a hard life mentally ever since.....Prayers keep me sane at the least but still.....Really i am a near 17 year old dude who is struggling on gender dysphoria so cut me some slack!!! =P
One thing i really miss from home is being able to play the piano.....Ok i also play rugby but i love doing this and even after transition.....Quite wierd though.....a dude who plays piano with such elagance of a woman....think that answers my teachers question, but that answer will have too wait for her thats for sure.
I think its enough for one night but i think its good as it is my first Pe blog ey =].
I do have more blogs at http://changingnelly.wordpress.com/ .
Hmmm i think i gotta go so bye all....for now that is!!!!
Comment by Nicole Aime on December 29, 2010 at 8:19pm Oh to be young! Take it slow young lady. I know it can get discouraging at times. I knew I was female since age 12, actually before then, but I didn't realize my body was going to stay male shaped until then. Back then, without information and support, I just gave in and decided that living as a man was the only option. And I've been darned good at it too! But I am slowly figuring out how to be me. I'm even in the process of writing a book that I pray will help my church (and perhaps all churches) to understand the complex reality of TSism. Like you said, Rome wasn't built in a day.
When I was young, I was impatient to grow up. And because of that I did some of my growing up way too fast for conditions, and I have left debris in my wake. You have a great advantage. Information, support, and no pretending-to-be-male baggage and responsibilities. Take your time to grow up. Try to see the good in everything and always be thankful.
Hope the weather gets better on your island. Hope your grandma gets better soon. You will be home before you know it. Be careful with who you confide in. Telling your story can be so liberating for you, but it can be a source of pain and struggle for the hearer. Perhaps you can start with your trusted friend who is a girl, that you talked about in one of your blogs, and go from there.
Keep talking to us here. Go well, young lady.
