In this Life, I am a Woman
In my next life, I'd like to be a bear.
When you're a bear, you get to hibernate.
You do nothing but sleep for 6 months.
I could deal with that.
Before you hibernate, you're supposed to eat yourself stupid.
I could deal with that too.
Being a girl bear, you birth your children( who are the size of walnuts) while you are sleeping and wake to partially grown, cute, cuddly cubs.
I could definitely deal with that.
When you are Mama bear, everyone knows you mean business.
You swat anyone who bothers your cubs.
If your cubs get out of line, you cuff them too.
I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, your mate expects you to wake up growling.
They expect that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.
Yup, gonna be a bear!

You mention the good aspects of being a bear, I don't think I could deal with the idea of having to eat people (ok...maybe some people)!

I just enjoy the thought of killing and tearing the flesh from bones of the prey that was unlucky enough to be caught by me.

Yup, had bacon and eggs this very morning.
Almost a Sunday ritual.
Spare ribs is a favourite too.
Bear ribs, I haven't tried but bare ribs on rye Mai is my favourite dish of all time.
And Kathy, sometimes we have to grin and bear it, the purple people eater is still alive and well.

I am glad you want to be a bear and bare it all in the natural.
No bare bears do not eat people. They eat fish are basically vegetarians, but they do kill people.
Bears are smart and they really don't want to be known as vegetarians because vegetarian means BAD HUNTER!
