I have nothing but disdain for Dr. Mcginn

My issue with her is her conceded attitude, she wouldn't even listen for one minute to even consider the possibility something went wrong. She said over and over again it wasn't me, it's you it's you. Well that was up till the point she realized I saw Maci Bowers in person when she was in town, and she felt a little embarrassed and tried to talk me out of seeing her. If she would have even taken the time to listen to the symptoms and the kind  excruciating pain I've been having she might not have been so quick to say :"oh you're just have phantom pains". Phantom pains don't cause you to double over, after small sexual thoughts. I fail to see what I have to be happy about though, with the amount of pain I've been in. And I am glad the truth sounds close enough to slander. If the point of her phone call was to defend herself and blame everything on me, she should have at least asked what was going on, she had my chart and couldn't even remember my surgery date.

Kayla, Some doctors carry a "god complex."  And it will come and go based on their failures, successes, and moods. But we all are subject to the human aspects. While I am not defending McGinn, the important thing is that you solve and correct what is bothering you. I had the same experience with FFS. After having spent a considerable sum of money for all the procedures, I found that, while at first it looked good, the surgeon wasn't aggressive enough, and 3 months later it didn't look good. And after having consultaions with 4 other doctors who basicall said that it didn't look like I had anything done, I was devastated. My girlfriends told me to go back again and complain. Would I take a chance with someone to redo what should have been done right in the first place?--I THINK NOT! So I took to the net and found a doctor outside the U.S. with the credentials, knowledge, and experience to redo my FFS again. And the results have been fantastic. I found better care, less expense, and I feel blessed to have been guidied to a doctor to fulfill my dreams.

One doctor may be great for one person and not for another. Follow your intuition and you will be guided to someone who will fulfill yours. I hope you will keep us updated on your decision and results.
