Recentl,y I did a google search on my name and was not happy with what I found under my name. I found links to my flicker and facebook accounts (which I have disabled) as well as a link to the Pink Essence group. Also to the PTG group as well as a link to a PTG magazine from 2010 with an Article I wrote for it .You may wish to be careful as to what you post on the internet or better still do a google search of your name and find out is there. Yours Barbara Marie Davidson

This blog is not being ignored.
This issue had wide coverage at the start of the year and unfortunately, many respected members of Pe, left.
It's now a fact of life that whatever you write here is now public knowledge, worldwide, so people need to be aware that there is no such thing as a private conversation, your privates are now public, for all the world to see.
My privates are no longer, so I care not a whit if there are peekers at my knickers, or readers of my words.
It is a sad state of affairs to lose your innocence and not even know that such was never much and never protected after all.
Rachel: I am a member of the Scottish American Military Society, Post #7. OUr post gives ROTC awards each year to the local Highschools to the out standing cadet. I was to give 2 of the awards at different HS. but I was Dis-invited due to the fsact that some one googled my name and and found my name with links to a number of LGBT websites. They told the colonel at their school and I was dis invited from both schools. I am now legally Barbara Marie Davidson, LCDR/USN/RET. Some folks don't know what they will find if they google their name. That is why I posted the blog. Thanks for your comeback,.. Hugs Barbara

Please read through your blog and add the comment as part of the reading and THEN everything as a whole makes so much more sense.
Less is not better when writing a blog.
I really sympathise with you on this and I guess there is bugger-all you can do about it.
Being a mischevious sort of an Aussie, I reckon I would send an email to this Colonel, reminding him that DADT is no longer policy and women are not only welcome in the Armed forces but also some are of a higher rank than he.
I don't intend to go into policy issues about Pe, I am on record about how I feel about the sudden and untold of opening of personal information to the world but you have my 100% support in wishing to advise others of the dangers we face in printing our truth.
I spent many hours over the past few years, telling people this site was a safe-haven to open your heart to all of those who had their interest at heart.
Alas, this is no longer so, to that degree anyway and though I still love this site and Chloe, I will take whatever opportunity arises to tell people that caution in their revelations are necessary nowadays.
One thing I might mention to you Barbara and I presume you have read my profile to know where I am at, is that you, as a trans woman, to use an oft used saying, can run but you can't hide.
No matter what, our past is our past and we all have to have contingencies to deal with our past becoming known to the public.
You might like to consider that.
Having said all that, think on my email, and give the bastards hell ( I know, I am so subtle, hahahaha)
And good luck in life.
