Finally time to change my name !!!

Holly, wishing you the best with the name change.  (And if you decide you want another name, I wouldn't be upset if you wanted to share Caroline... hahahaha)  Transitioning is stepping off a cliff at one point or another. A name change is one of those moments. Start putting together your list of places to change your name ta once it is official. I'll bet it reaches 60 to 80 places.  Magazines, newspapers, drug stores, insurance policies, any place that gives you a "discount" or membership card, old schools you have attended,  gym memberships, church rosters, voter registration, dry cleaners, hair places, utility bills, computer software registrations, warranties, gun permits, licenses for piloting, hunting, fishing, etc., computer trivia games at your local bar, and more.  You get the idea. Better to be organized and when you file for the name change, get several copies of the notarized versions because that is all that some will take.  Regular photo copies don't work for them.

When someone first used my female name (on a appointment reminder card) I was so touched  that I framed it.  Silly, isn't it? But it was that important to me....  Hugs, Caroline

Thanks Caroline, now i have a big headache !! Lol !! I was going to use Caroline, but i do not think i could live up to the name .    =)
