Employment
As alot of other women on PE, I have had unemployment issues for the past 2 years. Not because of GID, but because of the econmy and going back to school. I did not get a job as what I trained for, but will be able to transfer to that department in about 6 months. The important thing is that I have a job. Is it on my terms of working as Jamie, no, but it will change over time. I had adjust my wants to get my needs met. One good thing about being more mature is that I can compermise and have learned patients. (sp) Hope everyone has a great day.

Hope it works out for you and that you get to transfer as soon as possible. Being unemployed is so stressful, any income goes a long way.

Congrats to you!!! I, too, have been gainfully unemployed for just over 2 years and not because of gender. I had an interview last Friday at Half Price Books, so that is the best thing to come along yet.....

Good for you luv! I know how scary it can be.......my division was eliminated just two Mondays ago. Interviewing like mad at the moment, and up against many, many people who because of this economy are in my same boat. I do hope you are able to transfer soon.
