Definitions: my thoughts and I have to stick with them.

The interesting thing is that I was asked a large group if I was heterosexual.  I replied , "Yes." simply to see the reaction. The person asking (straight male) said something like, "Oh. You are staying with your wife then."I have since answered this question several times since and then inquired of others what they meant. Most would consider a TG woman sleeping with a man to be gay.  I get that isn't right.

 

So I agree with your definition but I have found that non-TG people have different definitions than us.

 

Not exactly sure why they feel that way other than they simply don't get we are the gender we are now showing on the outside. Perhaps non-TG people simply see me as still a  guy IF they know I transitioned. If they don't know I am TG, then I'd appear straight by my answer.

 

BTW, I haven't figured out what I am, so I always spill the beans eventually.  I tell them I haven't quite figured out yet who I will be when I grow up. I'm just too busy with other things in life...  I do have figuring that out on my to-do list for next year...

I really agree with this as I too identify with my sexuality, I identify as a Lesbian but not because of the default of my transition either but that I've always felt that way.
