Big Day Coming Up - Dr. Appt
I just realized that my doctors appointment is less than two weeks away. On February 21, 2012 I will have my first appointment with the doctor about starting hormone therapy. I have been in counseling for almost two years and seeing a gender specialist since June. She was ready to write my letter in August, but I had to wait for income tax time to start my appointments.
I am not sure what to expect the first appointment. I have a fantasy about walking out with a prescription. That would be the most awesomest thing in the world. However, I know the reality is going to be here get some lab work and we will see.
My wife is going with me on my first appointment for moral support and to ask a few questions.

Geez, I can't remember my first appointment but I think I got a script for lab work and medications. They started me off slow with really low doses and gradually upped the levels. It really didn't matter since the changes started very quickly. I thought I had a whole year and my breast growth started within in weeks.
Glad your wife is going with you.
That excited - scared part is pretty much what most of us felt when we started.
