"We are One"

Last week I posted a blog decrying the sexualization stereotyping of transgender people I thought demonstrated in the novel, Pearls of Asia.  While I missed most of last night's broadcast due to technical difficulties, I have had a change of heart and mind, due in no small measure to a blog posted by Erin Armstrong on theTransadvocate.  Evidently,I am not new to the argument.

When I have to be right, I'm wrong.

My apologies, Bobbie

Sorry but I don't see it as being right or wrong, Your concerns were / are valid.La Luna's ticked off trannies comes to mind. I see far more damage coming from within TLGB umbrella with the likes of Lierre Keith,Cathy Brennan,Elizabeth Hungerford, and the rest of the radical fem movement promoting falsehoods about our motives and our lives. Keep the fires of passion burning  because I fear once L&G community attain all their goals the battle for our equality will be the last thing their calender.

It's too bad that the marketing has to be so raw sounding just to get people to read a good story. The marketing is to the masses - we are not the masses.

Lana did a great job last night. I wish she would have had the time to ask the question that Lee noticed in the chat window. It was about how much he knew about TS people before and how his thinking may have changed as her researched and wrote the book.
