So, I'm Olivia, you can call me Liv. I finally started transitioning last June, but it's been a very slow process, at least I think so. I can't actually transition to full time because of my job, so for the next three years I'm stuck in this weird limbo, having to look like a boy which is causing a lot of stress. I started DIY hormones last July and started seeing a therapist by the end of the same month. After a few more months I went to a local trans meet 'n' greet and everything started fitting together. I made new friends and life was good. In December I had a trachea shave with Dr. Spiegel and now I'm back at work (after taking December off) where I've essentially hit a brick wall with my transition.
New Year's Resolution: Be out and about full time everywhere except work by the end of the year.

I moved up to Nashua back in '02. The housing market was just too expensive in MA at the time. I have since hung around here. I wanted to stay close to my kids. I moved into the condo I'm in now about a year ago and have been slowly trying to put the pieces of my life back together.
I went to Fantasia Fair back in Oct. Have you ever been to any local TG gatherings? I just recently heard of First Event that is going to happen in just a couple weeks. Have you heard of that one before? I was thinking of attending some of it.

We'll see how this goes, I've tried keeping journals and memoirs and stickie notes many times throughout my life and either lose them or toss them. I have a horrible habit of starting things with the best of intentions and then forgetting about them within a few weeks. But, this one isn't intended to be a daily or a weekly or a monthly. It's just supposed to be. A sporadic glimpse of my life and also a place for me to return to after a while and reminisce.
