Thanks Wendy for your supportive comments. Being that I am a biologist, I do agree with you that we were "born this way" and additionally, that we are most apt to pass on the genes for this transgender predisposition. I only hope that my two pregnant and estranged daughters will treat their own children with greater compassion and understanding than they have had with me. Marie
