- It's nice to find a site with so many good and positive experiences that we all need to be able to lean on at times...
Tall (5'11" and change) non-op TS, fit, athletic, and fun hoping to meet other women in the area...enjoy music, gardening, cooking, hiking...am well into HRT (32mos.) and am integrating into society via androgyny then FT over a 4-5 year course. Began electrolysis recently (150 hours logged in 12 months) , and by end of 4-5 years, expect legal IDs to in place as well...like many, have been aware of "me" since early childhood but life was different then than it is today and I felt alone, even like a "freak" as there were no means of communicating my thoughts nor any hope of meeting others like ourselves back then. Move the clock forward and well, here I am!!! By morphing slowly, I am giving others around me an opportunity to transition with me rather than just dropping it on everyone and risk losing all. Thus far, it is working well...one day at a time! xoxo

I didn't want to hijack Cerise's interesting post on CD myths so I thought I'd add another "myth" and then an observation....I am a 60 something person who has lived with gender conflict since I've been aware, maybe age 3 or so...trust me when I say that there was not much information nor support available, plus no internet then. We'll have to make a point of having lunch some day soon. Have you heard anything about the trans clinic in Norfolk? The shrink I was seeing is in Raliegh a good three hour drive away and Norfolk in only 45 minutes away or so.
