- I was referred to here by a post-op transgender named Cheri Kay. Her and I have been talking for some time and she has become a great life coach to me, helping me along on my journey to become the real me I feel on the inside. I'm just getting started on my journey and transitioning to full time. I've got a good counselor that has experience in gender identity disorder and is helping me get hormones. My housing situation is a bit rocky, but things will turn out okay once I get the medical card to help pay for my hormones. Currently considering working full time as a woman and looking for friends to go out and do girl stuff with. I figure we could help each other out in a mutually beneficial way. I'm really looking forward to taking part in this group and giving back to the community as best I can. From what I hear there are a lot of good and helpful people here. If anyone needs something or just feels like talking, I'm very open-minded and have plenty of spare time at the moment.
