So today I turned 30, which comes with it the most basic fear of all things... being old. Its my official third decade of existence. With it I am scared because I know that I am no longer in my twenties and am on a new journey. The journey of discovery started once I left high school. I say this because a friend told me of an article to read from an online news publication for moderates, but it was worth reading. Now i am not one to tolerate people who dont have an open mind to things they dont understand, but what happened in Jackson, MS is atrocious. The same thing happened here in Seattle but was connected to a police officer kicking a teenager and beating him until another officer arrived.
