- I had my first "dressing" experience when I was about 9 yr old, as usual it was my Mother's clothes. That lasted about 5 yrs and was able to supress it for quite awhile. Joined the USN and spent 20 yr, getting married half way through my career. Around 1980 or so the desire returned, and started up again with undies. Didn't take but a few years to add the hose, then there were the secretive "outings" for shopping, and hiding my stash.
Reached a point where I just knew that I either HAD to "come out" to my wife or she'd discover my things and matter would be much worse. She was opposed to it , no surprise for me, I knew what to expect. I had to tell her anyhow. With lots of talking we reached a point of "don't ask, don't tell" when it came to my clothing choice.
I had told my genetic sister and she accepted me. With a few well planned "fibs" she and I managed to have a few girly shopping trips with me all "prettied up" this was her idea to get me "out and about"
As time went on I gained more and more confidence to be able to venture out on my own.
This past December 2009 my wife of +38 yr "passed" away, since then, with nobody to tell me "NO" I've found myself out more and more and am giving serious consideration to somesort of "full time" living. Presently I am on HRT and have been for about 8 weeks as of Sept 15 2010. I've also found an electrologist tech to "do my face" Today (Sept 15 2010) I had my third visit. This time I went fully dressed, except for the lack of makeup and two days of beard growth. Yuck.
Earlier this same day, I had coffee with one of the members here, and she told me of this site.
I would very much like to be coinsidered for membership
