- I have been married to my now transitioning MTF spouse for over 18 years. She was diagnosed last fall. Prior to that she thought she was basically a cross dresser which she told me about in 2002. The past year has been quite a roller coaster but we are doing quite well...I'm very optimistic that we will make it just fine! I'm interested in hearing how other spouses have gone through or going through this transition, as well.
