As I was leaving SCC early due to family commitments, I found myself not wanting to go. I know some of it came from missing the Saturday events but there was a deeper felling that I could not get rid of. I wanted to stay as Melissa, not just in Atlanta but at home also. I texted a good friend, her reply was "I know who Melissa is and lover her." - Hi Melissa - and thanks for the cuddly teddy bear. That gift started me thinking - I realised as a small child I never had a Teddy Bear for comfort - quite staggering and quite sad when I think about that.
I'm so sorry I won't be able to make it to SCC this year - and I'm feeling pretty down about it - But i will be there next year for sure.
I must ask you Melissa - and I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but we have met before haven't we? - at last years SCC. Sometimes it is hard to remember everyone as those few days are just a sea of faces, but I'm sure we met - am I right?
