I'm a M2F TS early in her journey. I'm going to do everything I can to try to beat the odds and transition with my wife and life partner still at my side through these changes.
I was living part time in my 20's and seriously considered transition then, however I found myself going back to male mode make a living.
I really didn't think it ever possible to actually transition as I got later in my 20s due to the physical changes that happened once T kicked in. I viewed it as something in my past and a missed opportunity that would never visit me again. Later on in my life I would also consider not taking this fork in the road at that time as evidence I was not trans.
I had spent years insisting to myself that there was no way, no how that I could be possibly be trans, and I've spent many years thinking of all the reasons why I couldn't possibly transition. A year ago I hit the point where I could no longer deny who I am, no matter what it costs me.
I live in Minneapolis, and am now "over forty". As far as hobbies and my day job I've been doing computer programming for more years than I will ever admit to at this point.
I've recently found myself deeply drawn back to music which was an early love of mine. I played (bass) professionally in my teens and 20's and I'm finding playing is re-opening old brain cells I've neglected for some time.
