- Always knew that something inside me drew me to seek out my feminine self. As a child I experimented quite a bit in trying on female clothing of my mother's and sisters'. I struggled mightily with who I should be. Eventually the pressures of family and society quashed my feminine thoughts and desires but I never lost them. I continued to seek out my femininity as a teen and tried to come to terms with who i was. Back then the resources were not as readily available as they are to trans people today. I wonder how things would have turned out if I knew what I know now or stumbled upon someone who could point me in the right direction. As I continue today as a closet transgender I find it more difficult to hide my femininity and know eventually it will take over my psyche and I will come to a crossroad that I am now more prepared to undertake.
