- I'm an Asian transgender woman living in Toronto. Like it says on most of my online profiles, my life is full of dualities: often I'm a girl, but sometimes I'm a boy; I'm shy but also chatty; I'm a science geek (background in physics, math & PhD in engineering, but don't call me a nerd) and an artsy musician (freelance violinist); I'm a serious intellectual and a fun-loving flirt; I'm *very* intelligent, but sometimes I do The Dumbest Things. This part hasn't changed in years, and they're not going to change either...what has changed is that for a time, I used to be very active participant in the TG scene in the city, and I'd hang out with other girls every weekend. Over time, I have drifted apart because of changes in my life. Right now, I'm hoping to reconnect, not only with other trans women in Toronto, but also with the larger community in general!

So this is me: I'm a 30-year-old simple Chinese Canadian transgender woman living in Toronto. But probably everyone on Pink will agree that there is no such thing as a “simple transgender woman”.
