- Prior to going full time in 2009, I spent 16 years researching, studying and reading everything that I could find to figure out who I was, what I was and why I felt the way I did about myself. In 2002, I started to go part time and little by little getting closer to full time, until I just could not bare to maintain the charade anymore, so my pivotal point of no return became January 2009. My first thoughts of being wrong go back to about age 2, at this time I of course didn't know what things were called, but I definitely didn't want what I did have. I did my best to comply for the next several years, with brief spells of exploration. Then about age 8, I spent a Halloween evening at a party dressed as a girl by my two of my girl classmates. This was my turning point and would become a difficult 30 years until I could not pretend to be someone that I wasn't anymore. So now I am on my way to becoming complete, though it is a financial struggle without steady employment, I am doing the best that I can.
