Four weeks ago I had surgery to repair a stricture in my urethra. Simple explanation they cut out the section with the stricture and sewed the two pieces back together and inserted a catheter. Needless to say I have been on basically bed rest since. Moving Forward

This past month has brought both a lot of forward movement with my gender trek as well as some set backs. My wife has agreed to allow me some everyday expression of my femininity by wearing woman's jeans and blouses at home all the time yet this huge step on her part has been met by me pushing for even more than she is ready to accept without first adjusting to the current change. I know we all spend most of our time stressed in life, be it from just simply being transgendered, money, family or job. How do we deal with it? I know for some it is Alcohol and drugs or some other vice others take a hike, go camping or some kind of exercise regime. I have none of these I tend to just bottle it up inside and let it stew until I burst then everyone around me is in trouble because every little thing is like having fingernails scratched on a chalk board.

I actually don't use this site much, but it would be good to have friends in the area. I am a truck driver, so I am not home during the week. Maybe we could set something up and meet on a weekend somewhere. I know a nice little bar downtown called Trax. I have been there many times, we could meet there and sit out on their deck and talk.
