- I have met several Transgendered people over the years, I have always been impressed with their courage and felt for them about the unfair pain caused by family, friends and society. I am a firm beiever that ignorance is the main cause for many of the worlds problems. They don't understand it, therefor this make fun or abuse it. I know as bad as it seems today, things have came along way in the last 20 or 25 years. There is still a long way to go, but Rome wasn't built in a day. The more society gets better informed about gender issues and familier with it, the barriers will slowly come down, similar to the Berlin Wall. It didn't fall over night, 20 or 30 years of people finding out the truth, that the democracy wasn't bad, people the were nice, the truth came out and the wall crumbled. Some of the nicest people I have ever met are transgendered. I hope someday saying the word Transgendered will be held in the same context as she is asian, he's a republican, they are Omish, he's tall, just an non offensive way to describe them, with no negative undertones. I would really like to be a member, am I a Senator or someone with major pull or connections, no. In truth you don't need a guy like myself, but the foundation of the movement is advanced with millions of guys just like me. I have a friend who works with a m to f. He talked so much hate and anger about her, he and others made her life hell. Over the period of several months, he and i talked, While he's still mixed up about gender issues. I got him to think a little, about the person, about the courage, about how cool it was to have someone different, he said she was a real sharp system anyalst. I convinced him to embrace her, not run, he was scared to be seen talking or associating with her, because of ridicule. I told him be secure in yourself, the people making the most trouble were the ones with problems. I will never let anyone tell me who I can and cannot associate with, maybe if you get to know her, you'd like her. I know many of my so called NORMAL coworkers, I don't care for, they aren't nice people they are jerks, live and let live. I'm going to close now this is getting long. I read all these blogs about the hardships when transitioning, The one common thread thats stands out, is how while they carefully calculate timetables and expenses there is one thing that is very commonly overlooked, and turns out to be very painfull, it seems in most cases not all, but many could have been avoided if not at least minimalized.

I don't feel animosity against males or anything similar. I appreciate your interest very much but these are my reasons not to add anyone here.
The only reason I may have to add someone is because I know the person (personally) well and for a long time, is near (driving distance) my location and we have similar lifestyles, preferences, etc. It's been a long time I ceased my activity in the internet due to real life time constraints. I rarely spend time in front of the computer and if I do, is for work. I have no interest in pen pals (same reason) and I am looking for a relationship of any kind. If you look at my situation from this side of the fence all you can see is that I melded my old lifestyle with my newer status, therefore, my life is as full as it can be. If I exist in this site is not more than reaching those sisters that within reach so they know about myself or old friends find me. So, it is not anything else.
Once again, thank you but I see no potential in adding you since it would be as it has been for a long time. Just another name in our rosters. I despise doing that for that sake. I thank you for your interest and note.

We have the privilege of but a few males as members and your contribution in your writings is most welcome.
We need a balance of views because it is easy for us to fall into the trap of thinking our view is the only view when it comes to transgender issues.
I was impressed with how you worded your reply to Zoe, who is having more than her fair share of problems at this time.
I would ask if you would consider copying and pasting those words and creating your own blog as they will get lost amongst another's blog.
In months and years to come, the blogs written here are going to become the guiding light for many members to read and learn about themselves and become better able to handle the trials they will have to face in an uncertain future.
