- Presently I am disabled, but prior to that I designed Printed Circuit Boards and helped develop prototype electronic products. For several years I was self employed seemingly quite successful until 9-11 happened and the industry dried up was outsourced overseas and what few employers are left locally are extremely paranoid about hiring independent contractors. (especially trans ones).
Presently I am very active in my Church and have hosted 2 annual Trans Day of Remembrance observances there. I am an activist for Gender and Sexual Minorities and for human rights in general. I am very out and well known in my local community.
- 100 Words About Me:
- I am a transitioned female now and quite happy. I love life now rather than loathing it. My career in electronics R&D died in the crashing of the Twin Towers and my old pseudo-man life ended in the wreckage of that career and a failed 14-year marriage. I am building a new and much more appropriate and fulfilling life now. Everywhere I go I seem to be able to make friends easily too, just by being open about who I am. July 24th 2006 began my full-time life as Eva-Genevieve Scarborough and I am so joyful that I am free and I am God's girl now. Sounds, and is unusual but that and my love for Jesus Christ are at the heart of who I am. I love to meet people face to face rather than typing at them and I am a bit flirty - with women and men now! I love to laugh and sometimes get into deep speculative conversations about God and His amazing creation and this includes Scientific issues because Science compliments God in my view.

- Thank you all for the warm welcome!! I have been debating for a month or so to join PE, but then a friend of mine sent me an invitation the other day and so I joined. It will take me a while to get used to yet another group interface - I barely can manage Facebook - and I have shied away from joining every group that I discover for that same reason, but I must say it was nice to be met by you all when I came in. I think I'll like it here and soon I'll get with the flow of things.
My faith is central to who I am and to my ability to boldly be myself. I think that whatever Faith one owns it ought to help them live up to their true potential. I think God wants us to be true to ourselves and any Faith that would cause us to deny how we were created isn't much of a faith because it denies what He/She has created in us. I struggled with that issue for many years because I came to faith in a Fundamentalist Evangelical Church. So now, when I talk of my Christianity I am never trying to impose my belief system on others (though I would love to share it with any that ask), but to mention it I must, for the very same reasons I must be myself openly - it is part of who I am.
On March 11th I have my Court hearing in Downtown Los Angeles and, God willing, my name change will be final. I am soOOoo excited.
