Reaching out

Let's rewind to late winter, 2009. My soon to be ex wife and I were having a world fo problems. I was supressing so much about how I felt about my gender incongruency that it was having major impacts on my marriage. I also just wasn't happy in general. Oh what a night

Last night was, by far, one of the nicest evenings I have had in a very long time. The thing that really tops it all off is that the night was so incredibly simple.



After working most of the day, I arrived home to find that my temp roommate was gone for the night...the whole night. That meant I had the house to myself and could just enjoy being me and unwind.

It broke my heart...

It is killing me. Something happened tonight that broke my heart...because I wanted to be able to reach out and offer support to someone...let them know that I know what they are feeling...I know what they are going through. It wasn't that I didn't want to help...but my office is extremely disciminatory. Because of this, I wasn't able to help they way I wanted to.
