I am so excited that I got a surgery date set for FFS for the last week of May. I can hardly believe how fast everything is moving. When I first started transitioning I did not think it would move this fast. I know May will be here before I know it. Will be full time after FFS!!!See More

- I had fought my gender confusion for so long ever since I was very young. I can clearly remember from when I was 7 years. There is a distinct memory of me asking my mother if a boy could become girl. Then being told that if I was supposed to be a girl I would have been born that way.
All my friends through school had always been girls. My best memories from my childhood were every summer at summer camp. When I got to my teenage years is when my world got turned upside down. It was when my body started to change and it was horrifying to me. In my 20's I had never heard of anybody changing genders. Tried to do what was expected of me by getting married and starting a family thinking that everything would change. It only got worse and now it has come to a point to where the only path that is desirable is to transition into my true self. My family now knows and a few of my close friends. Was actually surprised of how well my mother took it. She had known of things that I just could not hide from when I was growing up and urged me at the time that I would meet someone to grow old and happy with. I haven't given up on that venue, it will just be done differently the next time go around. :)

Started Hormones

So I have been contemplating posting this, it seems small in the grand scheme of things. One more step closer in the journey, I started hormones on Monday! I was so giddy waiting for the appointment could hardly get to sleep on Sunday night. Just had to share my good news.
