The day that I was terminated from McDonald's for not cutting my hair to a "male standard". I applied, was interviewed, hired, and orientated with no problem.

- Hello everyone! My name is Desirae and I am 30 years old. I am a parent of five beautiful children, three girls and two boys, that live with me full-time. The last year has been pretty rough since my wife left, but there are begining to be fun times again looking to the future. The last year I have finally been able to be myself, enjoy life, and enjoy my children more than ever! For the first time in my life i feel like the path in front of me is clear.
A few more things about me, I absolutely love to cook. I love it so much it's what I get to do every day I go to work. I work at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort and Spa(they have been amazing since I came out and said I would be transitioning). I am also interested in music and play guitar a little. The thing i like to do most is spend time with my children. They are truely amazing individuals.
