Counseling at The VA
I am seeing a counselor at The Vet Center,here in Chattanooga. So far it was been a good experience. Suzanne is easy to talk to,and has had some transgender clients. When her schedule opens up,I will see her every 2 weeks,to work on some roadblocks,on my transgender journey(including my wife,and her therapist!) I am not sure where my journey will take me,I hope the bumps in the road are not too big to overcome. Hugs, Darlene....See More

Hi Darlene,
I am sending you this note with hope that your time registered on Pink Essence has been pleasurable, informative and that we meet your needs concerning your place in the transgender community.
There are many valuable places within Pink Essence which may be helpful including multiple groups which facilitate specific areas i.e. FAITH for religious discussion, PEVETS for veterans of the military, individual location groups listed by State or country, and so many more. In addition we welcome your pictures, although we limit 10 per day per person , also we desire your thoughts which may be expressed in an informative and uplifting manner via the blog section.
Sending messages privately to individuals can only be achieved if one is a friend of that person. Be aware also that PCing, or private chatting, within the chat room is permissible if one desires to chat one-on-one with another member.
We also love to see our members “jazz” up their Profile page with applications such as videos, links and music playlists, so please feel free to let us know more about yourself because we are all individuals either living or supporting the transgender community but here at PE, “We are One”.
