- I was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma cancer this Febuary. Have completed 4 of 6 chemo treatments and Doctors are optomistic of at least getting it into remission. I pray this is only a bump in my transistion and I'll be able to complete my surgery in a few years. It will take time to save the money anyway. Best news is I am retired now!

Any SRS Surgeons to avoid?

I have begun formulating my goal of my final step of my journey. Money is an issue and have to balance that into any plans I make. I hear that Dr. Bowers, Meltzer or Suporn are of the top choices. I am very interested in hearing about others and what the costs involved are for their services.
And any comments about them and their clinics or hospitals. Anyone know about the Satori Group?

I haven't been back to my civilian Doctor since going to VA for my Medical care and starting my transition journey. My wife's first visit to our old friend of 30 some years and now her PN yesterday. I tagged along to show off my new me to the Nurses and PN. They did not recognize me even being with my wife! What a good confidence booster, as if I need more! All were very accepting and full of questions and concerns about our relationship.…

First stop from the Courthouse was the bank. I got the checking account and my new debit card completed. They want a copy of my Court order and proof of insurance in my name before submitting to have my home mortgage done. This morning I had my drivers lisence changed and the insurance poilicies corrected. The office staff were more excited than I am! The "Office Manager" wants to have a girls outing to ask more questions about my life and transitioning.

The wonderful Dr Saran Wannachamras was my surgeon and a wonderful man he is.
I highly recommend him not only for his price but his expertise and simplicity of his operation. I love the K.I.S.S principle in life of Keep It Simple, Stupid.
It works for me in this complicated world we find ourselves thrust into and the results of his surgery amaze my Thai wife continuosly, much to my delight,hahahaha.
I wish you continued pleasure in life as you find the new you developing into the woman we so longed for as part of our normal living.
It's an unequalled achievement to attain the congruence that we do eventually arrive at and one to be proud of.

Charlene Marie Boyles said… - Oh, please check the date... I 'had' beautiful hair... maybe it was too many hours with the 'wind in my face' on my Harley... a lot of it went bye bye. So, I was thinking some combination of hair weave as a temporary patch while I apply one of the known performance hair regrowth treatments. That way, I'd be covered as the new hair grows in from below. As it is now, my wife is not necessarily tickled with the notion of me wearing a wig. But, there are some beautiful wigs out there... they look to be about in the same ball park as a weave.
