It was about this time last year that I started going by Claire and started exploring my feminine side. At this point gender isn't really an issue anymore. At first I tried to be as stereotypically girly as possible, because it was so new and something that I'd always wanted to do. Do any of my sisters in arms miss the military?

Aside from the last 2 years, my entire adult life up to this point has been serving in the Army. I was in the Army for 10 years and made it to E-5 (Sergeant) and likely would have been E-6 (Staff Sergeant) by now with 1 of 2 possible big career moves which I was torn between; applying to Drill Sergeant school or applying to officer school.
