100 Words About Me:: I have been absolutely blessed with a wonderful and understanding wife. She is the only person in my life that I have shard my secret with. It took a while for her to fully understand, but now she is on board with this side of me. I have been dressing for years, I have been through many splurges and purges. I hope to leave those painful days behind. For many years I was in denial to myself about how I truly felt about my gender identity. It is a difficult conclusion to make when you accept that you are not left or right, black or white. When somewhere in the ill-defined, rarely understood grey-area is your new place in life. Coming from a scientific background like mine, this conclusion was especially difficult. I guess you might categorize me as a cross-dressder, but I prefer not to use that term. I prefer gender-queer. Cross-dressing is what I do, not who I am. I am a father (and a mother), a husband (and wife), a son (and daughter), a brother (and sister). I am many things to many people, and I express that in many ways through many forms of gender expression. I externalize my femininity in private right now, but I know in side I am always both.
