Can someone recommend a gender identity disorder therapist in eastern New York state?

- I havedressed on an (mostly) off for over 50 years. I have had several makeovers in the last three years and found that I loved how I looked as a girl. I am obsessed with dressing. My wife knows that I dress but does know that I have TG friends or that I chat online with them. I have recently purged fearing death would make my wife explain my clothes, makeup and I do not want to embarrass her. I am still obsessed with it houwever.. (Am Obviously mixed up about all of this)

Andrea, It's funny how things work......My experience was that most people don't care about our dressing as much as we think they may. Honesty usually turns out to be the best policy. Letting people know about this side of us is a big step as it could change our life as we know it. I am happy for you it has all worked out...Now the fun begins!
Don't let your feelings of being dishonest for so long bother you too much....therapy sounds like a drastic measure.....share your feelings with your wife and get on with it! Life is about becoming the person we want to become and making a difference in the lives of people we hold dear to us. 1st big step accomplished for you now lots of baby steps.
Now we can meet at a Triangles party and you can bring your wife and she can meet my wife....January or February party sounds like just the time to get out for a night.
