Happy Birthday Dechticaetiative!
My, that quite a change in name from Aleksandra!
Interesting (from Wikipedia)...
A dechticaetiative language is a language in which the indirect objects of ditransitive verbs are treated like the direct objects of monotransitive verbs...
Most dechticaetiative languages are found in Africa...
I'll have to figure this all out later as I'm not that deep into linguistics,
but have always found it interesting.
Hi D! I think they haven't posted the new schedule or opened registration. SCC is getting proposals for workshops and organizing that. If no one else does, drop me a line and I will let you know about what's up with SCC when I found out. I went for the first time last year, it was WONDERFUL! Hope to meet you there this year. I know Jenna Morningside and Karen Schulz will be comeing down from Baltimore and I live in Virginia.
Warmly, Sherri Lynne
Grüßen! I'm a transwoman and enjoy meeting people of alternative lifestyles, spirituality, and TLGB friendly people of all walks. I enjoy video and role playing games, MORPG, the arts, theatre, fantasy fiction, music from blue grass to punk, and hanging out with cool folk.
