Hi folks.  I'd like to volunteer for greeting.

Chloe-

Have you ever kicked off the one week follow-up team? I can see that being a really effective tool to get members moving and being more interactive in the PE community.

Dear Chloe,

ok, my home might be far away from most of our sisters here as I live in Germany, but I see it as a sign af staying together to send greetings and comments ... So I hope I can help you with f.e. sending birthday wishes. Its what I do also yet by looking every day 1-2 times on the PE-page and sending  birthday-wishes to sisters and supporters (not the complete list, but whom ever I find I have had contact yet ...). It would be great honour for me to help you even from far away!

Love & hugs from Germany!

Yours Julia

Hi Chloe! What an incredible site you have built! I know I'm just a newbie on PE but I have out and proud for awhile. I think we started transition around the same time. I too knew how much the warm welcomes meant to me when I joined. If I can help out here greeting new members let me know!!

I'm on board Chloe, and since the corperate intranet is down today, I will start immediately working on a letter for copy and paste.

Hugs,
Marsha

I'd really like for a few people to form a "1 week follow up" team. This team could contact and post notes to new user who have been here 1 week, but yet to have any activity or interaction. All you need to do is create a form letter and send them to new users who have been here at least a week and follow up with them - see if they have any questions, or encourage them to get involved.

Shalane, thank you for your interest and desire to welcome new members. Go to the "Members" near the top of the page, fifth selection from the left. The newest members are always the latest ones added from the top.

When I joined PE it was exciting receiving comments right away from some of the girls.  Tonight, I happened upon a new member and thought I would Welcome her as I was once Welcomed.  Then I found the "Greet Team" group.

I want to find ways to be more involved.  Being active will certainly help me move forward, and I think new members really appreciate the gesture.
