State law for changing birth certificate gender after an orchiectomy

Hi folks, I'm trying to research and find out New Jerseys law on changing your gender on your birth certificate after an orchiectomy.

I have to many tgirls that say I can, but I cant even find anything specific about it on the net.

I want to change it over if I can.

Thank you in advance

Michelle,

On June 9th of this year, the U.S. Department of State changed its policy on gender change in passports. GRS is no longer a prerequisite for passport issuance. You can check with your local passport office, get the guidelines, and apply for the document. With that in hand you can change all other documentation. I don't know about your state's laws, but the passport route might be the easiest. Some folks in my city have done it successfully.
