Policy: Photo & Video Posting

PinkEssence has a limited amount of storage space. Please refrain from over loading the site with ten thousand pictures of yourself in the same out fit, or pose, or slightly different pose. Select a few of your best shots from an entire set and post them with the rest of your best shots from your other sets. Please label your photos and include details about the photo. The photo section is to showcase your best pictures. If you need to just post hundreds of photo and videos, please use a Flickr, PhotoBucket or YouTube account to do so - avoid filling the group with unnecessary and redundant pics/videos of yourself from across the net that has been seen millions of times over.


CONTRIBUTING FOR OUR STORAGE SPACE

As of right now, PinkEssence only has 10GB of storage space and 100GB of Bandwidth per month - which includes the space needed for video, and the profile data and photos. Please post a responsible amount of photos and videos. Linking and embedding pictures from Sites like Flickr and You tube works well, because it cuts down on the space needed to store them. If you would like to donate money, storage space can be increased for $10 per month for each additional 10GB of space and 100GB of bandwidth we use/need. We are no where near this need yet... however, if we see that you are filling up a considerable amount of space, then we will ask you to delete some pictures - otherwise we remove them as necessary without warning -OR- we might request that you make a DONATION for the additional amount of space needed for a 1 year period minimum ($120).


PROFILE PHOTOS

Your main profile photo must be a visible head shot. If your profile picture has been reset with a photo of a "Pe" on it, then please update your photo HERE with a new photo that has been correctly oriented, cropped square in size and meets all the sites requirements.


GENERAL POLICY OF PHOTO/VIDEO APPROVAL

As mentioned, PinkEssence was setup to showcase your best shots. PinkEssence has a limited amount of storage space, so please refrain from over loading the site with pictures of yourself in the same out fit, or pose, or slightly different pose. Submitted photos that are similar to others already posted, or duplicates, will not be approved.


Should the number of posted photos on your profile photo section reach or exceed 100, please consider contributing to PinkEssence to support the increased need for storage. Profiles with more the 100 photos run the risk of having some photos deleted by the administration.


No advertisements in Photos.

Photos with Links or advertisements of ANY KIND will not be accepted, and any that may have been accepted in the past, are subject to be removed retroactive to this policy being updated. This includes links, advertisements , copyrights, or Trademarks on the photo, watermarked or embedded in the meta data, in the description or title of the photo, or any other way known, or currently unknown. Sorry, no exceptions. PE will however reserve the right to give this permission out on a discriminating bases for purposes we deem worthy.


PHOTOSHOP & MISREPRESENTATION

Misrepresenting yourself by the use of Photoshop, or any other program, or manipulation (be it with the camera or device) is not permitted on PE when it is done in a way to disguise one self, or to deceive others. It "IS" ok to manipulate a photo with photoshop AS LONG AS YOU CLAIM SO IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PHOTO. Pictures found to have been manipulated in any way for the determined purpose of misrepresentation, will be removed, and the user may be subject to suspension of PE. We will accept some pictures that have used Photoshop to artistically alter the picture and its obvious to all that it is such a piece. PE reserves the right to be discriminating on this policy and will exercise its best judgement but can't guarantee all pictures are accurate or genuine. As such, it is up to each user to do their own investigation into the subject matter posted online, be it photo's or otherwise.


Please TITLE your photos and include detailed DECRIPTIONS about the photo.

Submitted photos must feature the member submitting the photo. Scenery photos, pictures of pets, children, avatars, posters, isolated body parts, legs, hands, tattoos, or other people will not be approved for posting.


Photos that include minors will come under increased scrutiny. Should a photo not be labeled to state who the children are, or it is deemed the photo is not suitable for posting, it will not be approved.


If posting a photo that includes other people or a group, you must have the permission of all included to do so. Be sure that they realize that the photo will be posted on the internet.


Do not post fake photos, unless you put in a disclaimer in the notes that the photo is less than 100% authentic. Photos that are PhotoShopped for fun are ok, however, should no disclaimer be present and the photo is obviously altered beyond reason, the photo will not be approved.

We are also not approving any photos taken in the mirror while holding up a camera or cell phone.


Do not post anything with more than Rated PG-17. Certain photos will not be approved for posting in PinkEssence under any circumstances. These include:

* Bikini or swimsuit photos
* Lingerie photos
* Photos showing, representing, or feigning any kind of violence, including any presence of a weapon, such as a gun
* Fetish photos, including bondage (photos including a fetish maid outfit will be approved with the discretion of the administrators)
* Upskirt photos or photos blatantly displaying stocking tops, crotch, or suggestive poses
* Photos showing, representing, or feigning any kind of sexual act

The stated Photo Approval Policy includes, but is not limited to the above. All photos are subject to the discretion of the PinkEssence Administration.


In the event the rules have been broken, a Moderator will delete the photos/videos in question without warning. Notices or explanations will be sent out to individuals if the time and opportunity is available. Moderators do not have time to waste in debates or discussion regarding these rules. All decisions are final and not open to appeal. Please report any photos or videos you think are questionable to the web administrator or a group moderator.


Repeat offenders will be banned without notice.


By posting photos/videos here on PinkEssence, you accept the all the risks of having your images on the internet. PinkEssence may use your photos at their discretion within the website. Chloe Prince or any of the other Administrators or members of PinkEssence are NOT responsible for any unauthorized use of anything you post on PinkEssence. Post at your own risk!


YOUR PHOTO SECTION

Is no one visiting your profile page or commenting to you? Consider refreshing your photos and videos occasionally with NEW content, and contribute to discussions and comment on other peoples Blogs, Profiles etc.


SPAMMING

Do not post SPAM ADS as photos or videos "in your profile or photo section", unless you get permission. Only non-profit advertisements will be given permission. However, you may post any advertisement in the Advertisement forum - this includes links to personal websites and business.


PRIVATE PICTURES

Photos can be posted privately in an album by setting the PRIVACY SETTING for each of those photos is set to "ONLY MY FRIENDS" can see them. To set this privacy setting, just click on the photo and select "EDIT" and then select the level of privacy for the photo. This will ensure that ONLY people you have "Befriended" on PinkEssence will see them throughout the site, including the front page Show Case.


PHOTO RATING

The photos have a commenting and rating system. Remember to be kind in your posts and that the goal of PinkEssence.com is to be a SOCIAL network for support - not a boxing ring.
