Part conference, part social event, and part vacation, Fantasia Fair is a “full immersion experience,” meaning that attendees can and usually do spend an entire week 24/7 presenting their gender as they wish.
Each year, the Fair offers the leading annual program to help you get the most from be trans. There are workshops each morning and afternoon, a Keynote speaker following lunch, and special events each evening. What makes Fantasia Fair so valuable is that the Fair will help you realize how completely amazing you are!
There are opportunities to learn from community leaders and knowledgeable professionals. There are over 50 workshops spanning a huge variety of topics– so if you are a CD, TS, TG, IS, MTF, FTM, or Q there is a lot for you! You will be fascinated by the topics, which range from gender theory to hair removal to wig care to speaking in a feminine voice... Couples find support, friendship and caring, and enjoy the opportunity to participate in workshops that recognize the ups and downs of a relationship with a transgender partner.
Fantasia Fair is a whole week’s worth of events, not just a long weekend with a few activities – although you can come for just a long weekend if you want to! In addition to lunches that are provided each day in some of Cape Cod's best restaurants, there is a reception, two formal banquets, a fashion show, a cabaret/talent show, a wine tasting, and special events. Plus, there are always after hours parties, local dance clubs, spas, and everything else that makes Provincetown a top tourist destination.
Fantasia Fair is intimate. You will not get lost in the crowd and, with it lasting a whole week, you can actually meet and build friendships with almost everyone attending.
Not only do you have fun while you are at the Fair, you take home with you new skills and understandings that help you get the most out of being trans. Being trans is a gift, and Fantasia Fair you appreciate that.
